At Immersive Psychology Group, we're expanding our team and looking for a compassionate and skilled Psychologists or Clinical Registrars to provide individual therapy and psychological support to clients across a range of presentations including those living with body image challenges, eating disorders, trauma, and neurodiversity.

Our beautifully designed rooms include eating disorder equipment (e.g., scales), telehealth webcams, ergonomic setups, and body-affirming decor, fidget toys, EMDR resources, parts work and timeline materials. We also share the office with Lottie, our friendly therapy dog. We strive to continually update the rooms, and equip them with resources and tools to support your therapeutic style/needs.

Key Responsibilities
Provide client centred evidence-based therapy with a focus on body image, eating disorders, trauma, or neurodiversity and in any passion areas you'd like to expand into - such as relationship counselling.
Conduct assessments and develop collaborative, individualised treatment plans.
Maintain ethical and timely documentation in line with AHPRA requirements.
Participate in case discussions and contribute to a collegial team culture.
Liaise with other healthcare professionals including dieticians, GPs, and psychiatrists where appropriate.
What We're Looking For
AHPRA-registered Psychologist or Clinical Registrar. Provisional Psychologist are encouraged to apply, and placement students in their final placement unit.
Immersive cares for a range of clients across the life span (including children adolescents, adults, couples) for a broad range of presentations. We support our practitioners to work in their preferred space. We would also like, experience or strong interest in at least one of the following: eating disorders, assessment, neurodivergent-affirming care and knowledge, and/or trauma-informed practice.
Some practical experience in eating disorders, neurodivergent care, trauma, or assessment is preferred.
Familiarity with therapeutic modalities such as, Schema Therapy, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, CBT, CBT-E, ACT, or DBT.
Completed training in at least one therapeutic modality including Schema Therapy, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, CBT, CBT-E, ACT, or DBT.
Strong commitment to continued learning and professional growth, and passion and motivation for providing great client care.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Confident with navigating standard software (Word, PDF, emailing).
Ability to engage with referrers and meet Medicare compliance with reports and clinical notes/health files: ethically, accurately, on time, and to a high professional standard.
ABN & relevant insurances (if seeking a contractor role)
A minimum 3-4 day commitment.
Bonus Points For:
Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician status or willingness to complete training (e.g., CBT-E, FBT).
Schema or EMDR trained /practitioner/consultant (or working towards it).
Ability to conduct ADHD and Autism assessments for all ages (experience with MIGDAS AND DIVA)
Experience with Telehealth and digital platforms.
Availability to work some Saturdays.
