The organisation offers a balance of small teams and diverse groups of professionals specialising in areas such as Mental Health, Adult Physical Disability, Home Modifications, Assistive Technology, Paediatrics, and Positive Behaviour Support.

The Role

As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with clients in their homes or community environments.

Your duties will include:

1. Conducting assessments, such as functional capacity review, family support plans, assistive technology, home modification.
2. Report writing and case noting.
3. Attendance at client case conferencing.
4. Designing and implementing therapy plans to assist clients reach their goals.
5. Receipt of weekly supervision and providing supervision to direct supervisees.

Requirements

* Current AHPRA registration
* Strong evidence of well-developed communication skills
* An ability to work autonomously.
* Demonstrated experience working in OT paediatrics
* Well-developed time management and organisational skills
* A desire to learn and commit to regular continuing professional development.
* A commitment to engagement in quality improvement activities
* An ability to mentor others and role model quality performance
* An ability to speak and write in English

Desirable Skills

* Knowledge of the NDIS, Aged Care and MAIB
* Experience working in the NDIS, Aged Care and MAIB
