About the role
We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join our team at Lee Tyers Building Surveyors in Kingston, Tasmania. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive building surveying services to clients across Tasmania.
What you'll be doing
* Undertake building inspections and prepare detailed reports to identify compliance issues and recommend remediation solutions
* Review building plans and specifications to assess compliance with relevant building codes and regulations
* Liaise with clients, contractors and local authorities to ensure efficient project delivery
What we're looking for
* Degree qualified or minimum 3 years' experience as a Building Surveyor
* Applications are also welcomed from other suitably qualified professionals with relevant industry experience, even if not currently accredited as a Building Surveyor
* Strong technical knowledge of the National Construction Code and relevant Australian Standards
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work autonomously, and as part of a collaborative team
* Current Drivers Licence
* Australian citizenship is required for this position
