Warehouse and Logistics Specialist
The role involves overseeing general warehouse and logistics services aligned with supply chain procedures, with a focus on delivering tasks efficiently and effectively. This position requires high levels of physical movement and manual handling of goods, tools, and equipment.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Monitor and optimize inventory levels through regular stock analysis and reviews, ensuring compliance with supply chain reporting activities.
* Maintain a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible warehouse operation by enforcing accurate inventory control and promoting continuous improvement through incident reporting and corrective actions.
* Operate and maintain forklifts and equipment to move materials safely, adhering to manual handling and safety procedures.
* Manage stock-related processes, including maintenance schedules, and provide fortnightly stock reports to the relevant manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in warehousing and logistics, preferably in a marine support, engineering, manufacturing, or defence industry.
* Working experience in computerized ERP environments.
* Certificate III in Warehousing, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
* Proficiency in Pronto or IFS software.
* Basic Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills.
