About the Role
Reporting to the Production Manager, with a dotted-line relationship to the Logistics Manager, this is a great opportunity for a Warehouse & Dispatch Coordinator to join Aquatec's Shepparton operations team.
In this hands-on role, you will support the day-to-day warehouse and dispatch function, ensuring materials, components and equipment are accurately received, managed and dispatched to meet project and customer requirements.
You will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound freight, maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting sales orders and deliveries. A strong focus will be placed on safety, organisation, attention to detail and meeting DIFOT targets.
This role suits someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, practical environment and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Coordinating and loading outgoing freight to meet delivery schedules and DIFOT targets
* Receiving incoming goods in accordance with Aquatec procedures
* Maintaining accurate inventory control and stock records
* Assisting with sales orders, dispatch documentation and delivery coordination
* Ensuring items are correctly packaged, labelled and prepared for transport
* Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse and yard environment
* Operating forklifts safely for loading and unloading of trucks
* Communicating with internal teams, suppliers and freight providers
* Identifying issues or risks and escalating to managers where required
About You
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment and a strong work ethic.
You'll be reliable, safety focused and comfortable with manual handling as part of your daily work.
You will need to have:
* Experience loading and unloading trucks or working in a warehouse environment
* A valid forklift licence and driver's licence
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* A proactive, team-oriented attitude
Experience in the water, wastewater or plumbing industry, or exposure to NetSuite, will be highly regarded but is not essential.
