Room Attendant
The Room Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and satisfaction of our guests. This position requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms on a regular schedule, adhering to all relevant health and safety guidelines.
* Remove all trash and dirty linen from public spaces, hallways, and rooms, maintaining a high level of tidiness throughout the hotel.
* Keep all hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere for guests.
* Restock cart with cleaning and sanitization supplies, including bleach, mops, wipes, and brooms, to maintain optimal levels of cleanliness.
* Replenish chemical bottles as needed, following standard procedures to ensure efficient operations.
* Ensure overall cleanliness satisfaction for all rooms, public spaces, and guest touch points, striving for exceptional standards.
* Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager, prioritizing prompt resolution of issues.
* Clean and sanitize according to CDC and brand standards, upholding the highest levels of quality and hygiene.
Requirements:
* High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field is preferred.
* Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, demonstrating physical capability.
* Ability to stand during entire shift, showing adaptability and endurance.
* Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner, showcasing interpersonal skills.
