Full time, 12 month fixed term role at our Brisbane, Melbourne or North Sydney campus with some hybrid flexibility
About the Role
Operating within the Student Experience Directorate, the Student Safety Coordinator supports the student safety initiatives and case management within the Safeguarding and Student Safety area of the university and the ongoing improvement and delivery of ACU safeguarding and student safety strategy and function. The focus of the role is providing support, information and trauma-informed case management for students who have experienced sexual assault, sexual harassment, family and domestic violence, other forms of sexual harm or inappropriate behaviour. The Student Safety Coordinator also supports the National Manager, Safeguarding and Student Safety in developing and managing prevention and promotional initiatives to raise awareness of and reduce instances of inappropriate or concerning behaviour.

Total remuneration valued to $124,509 - $134,699 total rem (pro rata) per annum, including salary component $105,212 - $113,823 (pro rata) per annum (HEW 7), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
