As an Innovation Technologist based at our Bairnsdale, East Gippsland site; you will be a crucial team member within our Research and Development department. This role works within the team responsible for: Developing and commercialising product formulations for Patties Foods. Working with our procurement and operations teams on costs for existing products and ingredients. Working with engineering and production to develop solutions to production issues, while maintaining food safety. Advising and training our production team on changes and implications of modified recipes. The ability to engage, interact and communicate with a very diverse working group is key, you must be personable, willing to listen and build strong relationships. What you offer Qualifications in Food Technology/Pastry Cook/Baker or similar. Good communication skills to communicate with customers, team members, external data providers, and management. Experience in a food manufacturing facility highly desirable. Project Management experience and able to efficiently prioritise work. Sound computer skills and experience with the Microsoft Office Suite. Strong verbal and written communication skills. A positive attitude and ability to work within a team.
