Site Operations Officer CCC - 0000BB75

Support the democratic process by playing a key role in delivering the 2027 New South Wales State election

About the Role

The Site Operations Officer is responsible for working collaboratively with other members of the Centralised Count Centre Project team to establish and maintain facilities related services to support the functioning of a centralised count centre, ensuring day to day operations of the Centralised Count Centre (CCC) site run smoothly and efficiently. The role assists with the coordination of site decommissioning activities after the election event.

The role is temporary full-time until 30 April 2027.

Key knowledge, experience and essential requirements

As the successful candidate, you will have:

* Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or industry experience.
* Current WHS certification and First Aid qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
* Understanding of WHS legislation, site safety best practices, and emergency response procedures.
* Satisfactory Criminal Record check result.
* No affiliations with political parties, candidates, elected members, third-party campaigners, donors or registered lobbyists that could undermine the political impartiality of the Commission or that are otherwise inconsistent with its Political Neutrality Policy.

A talent pool may be created from this recruitment action for ongoing and temporary roles of the same work classification that may become available for filling over the next 18 months.

This role is based mainly in our Elizabeth Street, Sydney office and our dedicated count centre in western Sydney. Flexible arrangements may also be agreed with the Count Centre Site Director or the Assistant Commissioner Election Operations Group.

Total Remuneration Package: Total Remuneration Package - $113, 574 pa - $125,720 pa (includes base salary and superannuation, commensurate with experience).
