Early Childhood Educator (Full-Time) - Mill Park

Who Are We?

Y Whittlesea is a not-for-profit organization, the oldest youth organization and social enterprise in the world, reinvesting all profits into our communities. Our early learning spaces foster imagination and growth. Our Mill Park Heights Childcare Centre is a licensed service with 65 places, also offering funded 3- and 4-year-old kindergarten programs through our adjoining kindergarten. Our long day care operates from 7 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, closing for two weeks over Christmas.


The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and innovative educator to join our team. Whether you're early in your career or experienced, we want to hear from you. This is a full-time position with rotational shifts, including early and late shifts, and a monthly RDO. Responsibilities include observations, documentation, and creating engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments. What You Need to Bring

* Legal right to work in Australia
* Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services (or equivalent)
* At least 1-2 years of experience preferred, but all levels welcome
* Current Working with Children Check and Police Check (within last 6 months)
* CPR, First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certifications
* Ability to document observations, learning stories, and planning
* Passion, empathy, teamwork, initiative, and knowledge of EYLF and quality standards
