Clinical Manager

Summary:
Lead and manage all clinical care operations, fostering a safe, supportive, and person-centred environment for residents. You'll mentor and develop the clinical team, oversee care planning, and ensure full compliance with industry standards - all while prioritising the delivery of exceptional quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and mentor nursing and care staff, fostering a positive team culture and supporting professional growth.
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
* Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and families.
* Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively to maintain quality care and operational efficiency.
* Conduct routine assessments and audits to uphold high standards of service delivery.
* Respond to and resolve concerns or complaints from residents, families, or staff with empathy and professionalism.
Requirements:
* Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration.
* Previous experience as a Clinical Care Manager, Clinical Coordinator, or similar senior clinical role within aged care.
* Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC funding model, and compliance frameworks
* Proven ability to lead, support, and mentor clinical teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
* Excellent clinical assessment, care planning, and documentation skills
* Sound knowledge of risk management, incident reporting, and infection prevention and control practices
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams
* Exceptional time management and organisational abilities, with a proactive approach to solving problems and driving improvements
* A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
* Relevant post-graduate qualifications in aged care, health management, or clinical leadership (desirable but not essential)
