We are looking for someone who is passionate about all things Library & Community and join our team.
This position is permanent part-time/0.67 FTE and classified as a MSOA level 3.
About the role
Working closely with the Team Leader, Library Services, you'll play a key role in keeping our library collections fresh, relevant and accessible, while helping deliver engaging programs that respond to community needs. You'll be part of a dynamic team within the One Card network, providing excellent frontline service and supporting the library as a hub for learning, connection and creativity.
What you'll be doing
* Delivering warm, professional customer service across our library services
* Supporting and maintaining library collections in a variety of formats
* Assisting with adult programs, events and activities
* Helping customers navigate library systems and digital resources
* Contributing to safe, inclusive and welcoming library spaces
* Supporting collection analysis, stock selection and continuous improvement
* Working rostered shifts, including some weekends and after-hours events
About you
You're organised, community-minded and enjoy variety in your work. You bring strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in public libraries and lifelong learning. You may have a qualification in library, information management, community development (or similar), or relevant experience that shows you're ready to hit the ground running.
