Job Description
The role of a Partnership Marketing Manager is to oversee internal and external communications, develop strategic relationships with stakeholders, and ensure alignment across the organisation.
This position plays a key part in building our reputation as a thought leader in sustainable packaging and ensuring effective internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.
* Identify, establish, and maintain strategic partnerships with charities, sustainability organisations, government, NGOs, and other external stakeholders aligned with our mission.
* Manage ongoing partner relationships to ensure mutual value creation, brand alignment, and measurable impact.
* Lead partner activations, joint campaigns, and sustainability initiatives in collaboration with marketing, sustainability, and commercial teams.
* Monitor and report on the performance and impact of partnerships.
Sustainability Communications
* Support the Sustainability team in communicating impact metrics, certifications, and progress against ESG goals to internal and external audiences.
* Coordinate the development of the annual Sustainability Impact Report and supporting content.
* Ensure messaging consistency and alignment across all communications platforms.
Internal Training & Capability Building
* Design and deliver training content and internal education programs to build awareness and understanding of our sustainability agenda, partner programs, and company initiatives.
* Collaborate with department heads to integrate sustainability and brand purpose into team onboarding and ongoing training.
* Coordinate partner-led training sessions and knowledge-sharing events across the business.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Sustainability, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in partnership management, communications, or stakeholder engagement, ideally within sustainability, FMCG, packaging, or purpose-led organisations.
* Proven track record in developing and managing successful partnerships and delivering measurable impact.
* Demonstrated experience leading PR campaigns, thought leadership content, and managing media relations.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing high-quality content for diverse audiences.
* Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to align communications and partnerships with broader business goals.
* Confident public speaker and presenter with experience preparing executive communications and speaking briefs.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners.
* Passion for sustainability and social impact initiatives.
