Position Title: Technical Services Manager
Department: Technical Services
Location: Corporate Office, Perth
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Direct Reports: Senior Exploration Geologist, Senior Mine Geologist
Role Summary
The Technical Services Manager is responsible for overseeing and guiding the Company’s mineral
resource development, geological exploration, and technical service functions. This role is
pivotal in delivering the Client’s exploration strategy by ensuring high-quality geological and
resource modelling practices, as well as coordinating all technical disciplines supporting mining
and exploration activities.
Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to lead mineral resource management and discovery efforts through the implementation of the client’s exploration strategy. The Technical Services Manager will
drive programs that maximise the potential of the Company’s assets and provide strategic and
operational support across all technical areas, including contract management, resource
geology, exploration, grade control, and toll milling.
* Proven experience in a similar leadership role within the mining and exploration industry, ideally in Western Australia.
* Demonstrated success in managing and mentoring exploration and geology teams.
* Strong experience in contract management, project planning, budget management, and timely program delivery.
* Proficiency in geological modelling, resource estimation, and relevant software (e.g. Surpac, Leapfrog).
* Practical knowledge of greenfield and brownfield exploration.
* Familiarity with contract negotiation, laboratory management, and sample logistics.•Ability to act as Competent Person (JORC) for reporting of mineral resources.
* In-depth understanding of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act 1994 and associated regulations.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Key Accountabilities
* Develop and execute exploration strategies for gold, base metals, and rare earth targets.
* Oversee mineral resource and grade control modelling and ensure methodologies are robust and aligned with deposit types.
* Ensure timely updates to mineral resource models to support mine planning and optimisation.
* Manage exploration programs, including drill planning, data interpretation, and reporting.
* Oversee all technical aspects of Toll Milling and Ore Purchase Agreements, including stockpiling, grade determination, sample analysis, logistics, and liaison with contractors.
* Monitor and control exploration and technical services budgets.
* Prepare and review ASX announcements and technical updates.
* Foster positive relationships with regulators, communities, and stakeholders.
* Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
* Provide leadership across all technical functions and encourage continuous improvement.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Mining and Exploration Operations
* Support and align exploration activities with corporate objectives and mine plans.
* Collaborate with mine planning and operations to ensure integration of exploration data into operational decisions.
Safety
* Promote and implement a safety-first culture through visible leadership.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal Mine Safety Management System (MSMS).
* Promptly report and act on all safety incidents, near misses, and hazards.
* Ensure exploration and technical operations are conducted with minimal environmental impact.
* Comply with environmental protocols, waste management procedures, and incident reporting.
Qualifications and Requirements
•Bachelor's degree in Geology, Mineral Economics, or related field.
•Extensive experience in mineral exploration, resource estimation, and technical team leadership.
•Ability to pass pre-employment medical and police clearance.
•Recognised statutory appointment as Exploration Manager.
•4WD driving experience.
•Familiarity with Surpac, Leapfrog Geo, and other 3D geological modelling software.

•Proven track record of building effective working relationships with internal and external
stakeholders.
Work Environment & Conditions
•Based in Perth with occasional travel to exploration or remote field sites.
•May involve exposure to challenging environmental conditions (e.g., heat, dust, wildlife).
•Ability to work standard office hours (Mon–Fri), with availability for operational support after hours as required.
•Physical ability to undertake site visits and field assessments on uneven terrain
