A federal government program seeks a Training and Development Coordinator to support delivery of training outcomes for a major ICT transformation program. The role works closely with the Training Manager, Change Team, and Workforce Planning, Development and Training team.
You will help plan and deliver training activities which prepare staff for new systems and processes. The role connects the program and business areas. You will work with stakeholders to build tailored learning materials, deliver training sessions, and support successful adoption of new technology.
The position forms part of a broader change and training capability within the Indigo Program. This team leads change, communications, training, and transition activities across the transformation program.
This role is open to QLD, ACT, VIC based candidates.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver training activities which support digital transformation within a complex program environment
* Work with the Change Team to understand business needs and support delivery of training aligned with the program schedule
* Assess current training capability and support transition to future state learning needs
* Develop clear and engaging training materials for system users
* Build strong working relationships across program teams and business stakeholders
* Coordinate and manage training schedules aligned with change and adoption activities
* Deliver training sessions through virtual and face to face formats
* Monitor training uptake and effectiveness and provide regular reporting to stakeholders
* Validate training outcomes with end users and business leaders
Highly desirable criteria
* Experience supporting training within large scale ICT or digital transformation programs
* Experience working within government environments or complex enterprise organisations
* Experience supporting training within Agile delivery environments
* Experience working alongside change management teams within program delivery
* Understanding of structured change management frameworks
* Experience working with enterprise learning or workforce capability teams
* Experience supporting system implementation or technology adoption initiatives
Skills and experience
* Experience contributing across the full training lifecycle including needs analysis, planning, development, coordination, delivery, and evaluation
* Ability to work independently and within cross functional teams to achieve program outcomes
* Experience developing learning materials such as user guides, training videos, and learning modules for varied audiences
* Experience delivering learning and development initiatives and measuring training effectiveness
* Strong written communication skills for learning materials and documentation
* Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
* Ability to analyse learning needs and translate them into practical training solutions
* Strong organisation skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams and dependencies
* Strong critical thinking and analytical skills which support training planning and strategy
