Corpus Christi Primary School in Waratah is looking for a temporary part‐time (0.3 FTE) Primary Teacher to work every Thursday and alternate Wednesdays in term 3.
Responsibilities
* Promote the school as a place of learning and excellence, aligning with contemporary evidence‐based learning and wellbeing principles, including digital learning.
* Ensure the ongoing development and implementation of pedagogical practices that positively impact student learning outcomes.
* Work within the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
* Support the Catholic community by inviting families into a faith‐filled educational experience, promoting the school as a place of learning and excellence, and nurturing creativity and curiosity.
* Differentiate learning for students according to their educational needs and abilities, creating effective assessment practices and quality teaching programmes.
Experience & Criteria
* Clear understanding of and personal commitment to Catholic Education and active support of the Catholic ethos and culture of the school; for primary or religion teaching positions you must also be Catholic.
* Ability to plan and prepare contemporary and compliant teaching programmes and assessments that meet the diverse characteristics, needs and learning styles of students, encouraging them to work toward the attainment of their potential.
* Demonstrated ability to use assessment and relevant school data to optimise organisational and educational outcomes.
* Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and members of the wider community to establish productive partnerships and achieve educational outcomes.
* Innovative and agile mindset that supports and enhances a culture of continuous improvement within the school environment.
Qualifications
* Four‐year trained teacher.
* Active NESA accreditation.
* Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
* Completion of anaphylaxis training.
* Completion of CPR training.
