Job Title: Facility Maintenance Assistant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient individual to join our team as a Facility Maintenance Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our classrooms, staff areas, and common spaces.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance is desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities:
* Cleaning classrooms, including wiping down surfaces, vacuuming floors, and cleaning windows.
* Emptying bins and recycling containers.
* Cleaning staff and student toilets.
* Vacuuming staff and admin areas.
* Performing general tidying tasks around the school grounds.
The role involves working 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during term time. During school holidays, additional hours may be required to maintain the facilities.
As part of this role, you will be required to lift and move equipment and waste, so a medical examination may be necessary before starting work.
