The Office is committed to the highest ethical and professional standards.The role of the Senior Solicitor is to be accountable to the Director for:The management of a team of professional staff, including leadership, management, professional development, and wellbeing.Responsible for oversight of legal work within the team and for the conduct of complex and/or sensitive matters in the Supreme Court, District Court, and other courts.Contribute to the fulfilment of the ODPP corporate obligations and proactively participate in the business of the ODPP.Promote safe work practices, wellbeing, and diversity within the workplace.Special Conditions for EmploymentEmployment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory.A tertiary qualification in Law.Eligible for admission or admitted as a Practitioner of the Supreme Court of South Australia (or willing to obtain same if from interstate).Will be exposed, either directly or indirectly, to confidential, sensitive, confronting information, written descriptions, and other evidentiary material.Solicitors from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, or Perth looking for a change and eager to experience the wonderful lifestyle that Adelaide has to offer are encouraged to apply.
