Job Title: Rewarding Career in Youth Support
This is a part-time opportunity based within our Two Bed Emergency Response Homes Program.
The position reports to the Team Leader.
* To be successful in this role, you will have:
o A Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or similar tertiary qualifications.
o A genuine interest in young people and their wellbeing.
o Demonstrate empathy for young people in care in an open-minded and non-judgmental manner.
o Highly developed capacity for emotional self-regulation including setting and maintaining consistent boundaries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide safe and supportive environments for young people in care.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with young people, staff, and external partners.
* Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality support services are delivered.
* Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote positive outcomes for young people.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
* Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or similar tertiary qualifications.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong emotional intelligence and ability to manage stress.
