About the role
Join the team at Sunshine Coast Air Conditioning Service as a Refrigeration Mechanic. This is a full-time position based in Caloundra, Queensland. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of commercial and residential air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
What you'll be doing
1. Diagnose and repair faults in air conditioning and refrigeration systems
2. Install new air conditioning and refrigeration equipment
3. Perform routine maintenance and servicing of systems
4. Advise customers on the most suitable equipment and options
5. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with industry regulations
6. Maintain accurate records and documentation
What we're looking for
1. Qualifications in refrigeration and air conditioning, such as a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
2. Demonstrated experience as a refrigeration mechanic, preferably in the commercial and residential sectors
3. Strong technical skills and the ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently
4. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information to clients
5. A valid driver's licence and your own tools
6. Flexibility to work overtime and on-call as required
