Gold Coast Bulletin searching for court reporter
News Corp Australia publication The Gold Coast Bulletin is opening applications for a recent court reporter.
The court reporter will be assigned to report on cases at the Supreme, District, and Magistrates Courts.
The reportage may also pitch unique angles to interest Bulletin readers in other viewpoints of the story.
The candidate must have a proven record of working courtroom beats for print and digital news under tight deadlines, including articles that may have been front-page material.
The person should also be highly familiar with media ethics and laws, social media management, and can exercise absolute impartiality in covering cases.
The court-reporter-designate will also be required to work weeknights and on weekends.
