About the ACT Health Centre
The ACT Health Centre is one of the largest ADF Health facilities in Australia — a state-of-the-art clinic supporting Defence personnel, including officer trainees at ADFA and RMC Duntroon.
You'll work in a multidisciplinary team alongside nurses, physios, mental health professionals, and dental staff. Services include primary care, aviation and underwater medicine, and a 24-bed low-dependency ward which operates 24/7. Standard hours of operation are generally Monday- Friday (depending on role requirements, and base location you may be required for weekend and on-call shifts).
What you'll do
* Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence members
* Occ Med environment
* Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment
* Conduct fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care
* Provide medical advice to Defence health leadership
What you bring
* Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner
* FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration
* Minimum two years' GP experience in the last five years
* Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
* Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
Additional information:
* Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
* Provide Occupational Medicine services
* Civilian role – no enlistment required
