GHD's expanding Wide Bay operations present an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to lead key projects and foster business development by building strong client partnerships. The role can be based in either Bundaberg or Hervey Bay.
This exciting position offers a good variety of work and will see you involved with:
* Technical, hands-on delivery on roads, stormwater, urban development, and other civil infrastructure projects in the region for public and private clients.
* Leading and working as part of a team on projects from conception, including design, management, site works, and construction surveillance.
What will you bring to the team?
* Engineering Degree (Civil) with Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) status.
* Demonstrate a proactive, client-centric approach, actively contributing to business growth by identifying opportunities with both new and existing clients.
* Exhibit robust project management capabilities, confidently serving as the technical lead across diverse projects.
* Extensive experience in the design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, stormwater, urban development, water/wastewater systems).
* Proficiency in civil engineering software such as 12d, CIRCLY, DRAINS, MUSIC.
* Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
