- Global company with huge growth opportunities- Highly competitive salary- Macquarie Park location - Close to transportAbout the company:West Recruitment is honoured to partner with a well-known health care company with a global presence across 140 countries.About your new role:As the Network Engineer you will play a key role in planning, designing, and developing and supporting local area networks and wide area networks across the organisation.In addition, the Network Engineer will participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software and communication links.Your Responsibilities will include:•Design and deploy LANs, WANs, and wireless networks including routers, hubs, and switches.•Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures.•Oversee new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.•Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services.•Ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, telephony equipment, fax machines, and other network appliances.•Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.•Participate in managing all network security solutions and security audits.About your knowledge and experience•Degree preferred in IT coupled with Industry accreditations in Cisco and ITIL•Demonstrated knowledge of Cisco networking infrastructure covering both Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs)•Strong experience with Cisco and/or Palo Alto Firewalls and applicable management tools to manage such as Cisco Security Manager (CSM).•Proficient in writing policies and procedures and other support documentation.•Good understanding of IT infrastructure and service management practices.What's on offer:•Competitive salary package.•Exciting and challenging projects with a global impact.•Collaborative and diverse team environment.•Opportunities for professional growth and development.
