We're looking for an Account Director to join our Melbourne team.
Based in our Flack-designed Collingwood studio, you'll lead a national portfolio of clients across the built environment, design and cultural sectors.
The role
You'll act as a senior advisor to clients, translating insight into influence and influence into measurable impact.
You'll lead strategy, deliver campaigns and mentor a high-performing team, while contributing to the continued growth and direction of the agency.
This is a role for someone who brings perspective, sound judgement and a clear point of view.
What you'll do
* Lead client relationships at a senior level, providing clear, strategic counsel
* Develop and direct communication strategies aligned to business and reputational goals
* Oversee campaigns from concept through to execution and evaluation
* Shape narratives that position clients with authority and distinction
* Drive media strategy and maintain strong relationships with senior journalists and industry voices
* Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team
* Contribute to new business and agency growth
* Play an active role in agency direction and culture
What you bring
* Significant experience in a PR or communications agency (or equivalent inhouse role)
* Strong understanding of media, influence and ideally the built environment, design or cultural sectors
* Proven ability as a senior client advisor
* A track record of delivering work with measurable impact
* Confidence leading teams and developing talent
* Commercial awareness and contribution to business growth
* Excellent judgement, communication and presentation skills
* A strong network or the ability to build one
