Protech is seeking a proactive Site Coordinator to support our Mining and Maintenance Team at an open cut mine near Mackay.
In this key support role, you'll work closely with Account Managers to ensure high-quality service delivery to our clients. As the secondary point of contact, you'll handle administrative tasks, maintain processes and reporting, support employee coaching, and ensure compliance. You'll also step in to relieve Account Managers as needed, helping to maximise team capacity and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Data entry and system administration in line with Protech standards
* Client monthly meetings
* Scanning & filing documents
* Assisting the Account Manager with on-going field employee management
* Preparing reports and data as requested from the Client and/or Account Manager
* Weekly timesheets
* Assisting with a range of ad hoc tasks and errands as required
* Active field leadership with the Account Manager
* Assisting with recruitment and onboarding functions where required
Skills & Experience
* Reside in the Mackay region
* Ability to work on-site, and from the Mackay Office
* Demonstrated experience in Administration (Mining background will be highly regarded)
* Intermediate experience with Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, Teams & Outlook
* Highly organised with attention to detail
* Goal-orientated and results driven
* Ability to work both autonomously and in a team
* Right to work in Australia
* Current drivers licence
* Previous experience in a similar role will be (highly regarded, not essential)
* Current Health Assessment and Standard 11 (highly regarded, not essential)
Role Location:
This position will be primarily based on-site, working the following roster:
* Week 1: Monday – Wednesday (on-site), Thursday & Friday (Mackay Office)
* Week 2: Monday – Tuesday (Mackay Office), Wednesday – Friday (on-site)
