Position Purpose
Joining the Sales team at Interface in Perth, Western Australia gives you the chance to apply your existing knowledge and acquire new skills in a dynamic, client‐facing role. You will drive profitable sales, build and strengthen relationships within the Trade, Architecture and Design markets, and position Interface as a trusted partner in the industry.
Areas of Responsibility
* Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume with assigned accounts.
* Coordinate activities on projects with other Account Managers as required.
* Identify opportunities for new accounts in WA.
* Identify key buying influences within each project and their role.
* Identify product and service opportunities.
* Use CRM tools and Interface Advance selling process accurately to document status and progress on all selling opportunities.
* Use the CRM in a timely and accurate manner, meeting agreed KPIs.
* Attend industry functions to develop broad market awareness and external visibility for Interface.
* Develop and maintain an account map of all identified accounts.
* Develop territory and customer visit plans.
* Coordinate company personnel activities to meet customer expectations.
* Produce and work on annual plans for product and service review for each client.
* Demonstrate safe working behaviours.
* Extensive local, interstate and overnight travel will be required.
Qualifications and Experience
* 3+ years of Account Management/B2B Sales experience in the construction industry.
* Industry or associated industry knowledge.
* Broad awareness of the WA Trade, Architecture and Design market and clients.
* Capable of working professionally under pressure in competitive situations.
* Current driver's licence.
* Understanding of the financial aspects of the business.
* Formal qualifications in sales and/or marketing or a relevant field are highly regarded.
