Job Description
A Simulation Technician performs technical maintenance, system administration and support activities on a wide range of products. Activities include analysing and evaluating products and related performance, troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctions to eliminate problems in minimum time, installing, operating, maintaining, repairing and modifying equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensures training device availability for mission readiness.
* Performs periodic and rectification maintenance to training devices.
* Troubleshoots technical problems, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications.
* Installs and verifies modifications and security vulnerability updates.
* Guide maintenance instructors, aircrew and contractor instructor pilots with operation of the maintenance and pilot training devices.
* Maintains awareness of current issues involving the F-35 pilot and maintenance training devices.
* Assist and advise the Training Operations Support Manager and Lead Simulator Technician as required.

Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications (Diploma or above) in a relevant discipline (electronics, electrical, mechanical engineering, IT systems administration etc.) from a recognised institution, and/or equivalent relevant experience (preferably within the defence industry).
