Your new company
You will be based in modern offices close to Central Station, working for this lovely non-profit membership organisation. You will be working as part of a revenue team of 6 people, reporting to a friendly and down-to-earth Revenue Manager. This organisation supports its membership base across several different streams, both locally and nationally across Australia.
Your new role
You will be responsible for the following tasks:
* Conduct telephone and email-based debt collection, ensuring a minimum of 50 contact points per day.
* Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve outstanding account enquiries.
* Maintain accurate client records.
* Oversee extended credit provisions and manage payment plans.
* Handle inbound client calls, documenting file notes in real-time.
* Manage shared inbox communications.
* Perform debtor reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
* Provide general support to the credit team and Revenue Manager as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
You will come from a background in Collections and Debtor management, with the following skills and experience:
* At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating skill in managing high-volumes of debtors
* Intermediate level of Excel
* Ideally, you would have a Cert IV or similar level of accounting qualification.
* Exceptional interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Keen to learn and develop
