Accounts Officer - Temporary - Part-Time

Our client is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join a small finance team. Embrace a vibrant office culture. This role could lead to a permanent position for the right person

Job tasks and responsibilities

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will be very varied.

- Coding of invoices, checking and verifying
- Liaising with suppliers to order goods and overseeing they’re delivered promptly
- Filing and maintaining supplier records
- Handling queries via phone, email and general correspondence
- Recording and processing financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, invoices, bank reconciliations
- Reconciling daily bank statements and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner as well as credit card reconciliations
- Verify account balances and identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintaining accurate financial records in accounting software and spreadsheets.

Skills and experience

- A friendly and enthusiastic personality
- MYOB experience is essential
- Previous experience in an accounts officer role
- A skilled work ethic
