Field Sales Engineer – Australia (APAC)
Biamp, a leading manufacturer of professional audio and visual equipment, is recruiting a Field Sales Engineer to provide technical pre‐sales support for the APAC region.
Responsibilities
* Lead technical evaluation and design stages for major projects and key clients.
* Act as the technical liaison between Biamp, end users, consultants, AV integrators, distributors and control integrators during the pre‐sale stage.
* Draft proposals, design drawings, quotations and all required technical documentation.
* Develop strong relationships with decision‐makers and technical staff to serve as their trusted technical resource.
* Provide demonstrations, training and coaching to distributor and integrator installation teams.
* Drive the sales process through all phases requiring technical or design decisions and clearly explain how Biamp solutions meet the client's needs.
* Participate in regional trade shows and deliver equipment demos and technical expertise.
* Support creation of operations manuals, knowledge‐base content and report technical feedback to leadership.
* Report client feedback on technical matters and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Comprehensive general technical audio, video and control knowledge.
* Experience with programming and installing AV and control systems.
* Strong computer networking design and support background; CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, ENS, CompTIA or similar credentials are a plus.
* Computer literacy in MS Office, CAD programs and EASE.
* Experience working with distributors, system integrators, consultants and end‐users in the professional AV and control industry.
* Excellent technical presentation skills and ability to communicate with a range of audiences from executives to non‐technical staff.
* Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to build long‐term customer relationships.
* Team‐player with high self‐motivation and strong organizational skills for remote work.
* International travel experience and willingness to travel throughout Australia and New Zealand.
* Effective written and verbal English communication.
* Relevant degree or professional qualifications preferred.

Travel & Working Conditions
Hybrid remote work with up to 75% travel required. Must be located within reasonable distance to a major domestic and international airport.
