About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding position as part of our interdisciplinary team, working with clients who have complex conditions. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Rehabilitation Psychologist to join our Community Rehabilitation Unit.
* As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing psychology services to clients referred to our unit.
* You will work closely with other professionals to develop and implement rehabilitation plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is able to work effectively in a team environment.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology, with experience in a relevant rehabilitation setting. Endorsement by the Psychology Board of Australia as a Clinical Psychologist or Clinical Neuropsychologist would be highly desirable.
Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Providing clinical expertise and best practice assessment and therapeutic interventions to clients.
* Working collaboratively with other members of the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised rehabilitation plans.
* Maintaining accurate records of client progress and communicating regularly with other healthcare professionals involved in the client's care.
