We are working with a major Government Department who are seeking a Principal Advisor (Finance) to support a high-profile, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure program delivering critical transport solutions ahead of major upcoming events.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, large-scale projects within an integrated program environment.
Reporting into the Project Controls function, you will play a key role in managing and reporting on financial performance across major infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality financial reporting, dashboards, and insights to support decision-making
* Provide variance analysis, forecasting, and financial performance reporting to senior stakeholders
* Support monthly cash flow processes and financial reporting cycles
* Maintain accurate financial data within systems, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
* Work across project and financial systems (SAP, Primavera Unifier or similar)
* Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to deliver financial insights
* Contribute to the success of the program through timely and accurate reporting
About You
* CPA qualified and/or relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
* Strong experience in financial management, forecasting, and reporting
* Experience within government or large, complex organisations
* SAP / Oracle experience highly regarded
* Advanced Excel and Power BI skills for reporting and dashboards
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
