About The Role
Join a supportive, growing team where your skills are truly valued. At RSM Australia, we’re seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our regional offices in Bunbury, Busselton, or Margaret River. You’ll be part of a close‑knit team of professionals, contributing to RSM’s national strategy and our strong commitment to regional excellence. What You’ll Do
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Support the preparation of BAS, IAS, Payroll Tax, and other compliance obligations.
- Reconcile bank accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Respond to bookkeeping queries and liaise with clients to resolve issues.
- Assist with managing client relationships and ongoing communications.
- Apply your knowledge of current accounting practices and industry trends.
- Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance service delivery.
About You
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Relevant qualifications.
- Experience with Xero and MYOB AccountRight (essential).
- Payroll experience.
- Sound accounting skills (Dr’s & Cr’s; P&L; & Balance Sheet differences).
- Basic GST knowledge.
- Ability to identify & communicate process improvements.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently.
