The Opportunity:
Our client is a leading, fast-growing insurance provider investing heavily in risk capability, governance, and operational resilience. They are now looking to appoint a Risk Analyst to support the embedment of strong risk and compliance practices across the sales and servicing areas of their organisation.
This role is ideal for someone with 1-3 years prior exposure to risk, compliance, or audit who understands the fundamentals of risk management, particularly in an operational context and is looking to deepen their experience in a regulated financial services environment.

About the role:
Reporting into an experienced risk leader, you will support the day-to-day execution of the risk management framework across the business. This is a practical, delivery-focused role where you will work closely with operational teams to strengthen risk ownership, control effectiveness, and compliance outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the implementation and ongoing uplift of the risk management framework, including 3 Lines of Defence, risk and control self-assessments, and risk declarations
* Assisting with risk assessments, control reviews, incident management, and issue tracking
* Mapping regulatory and internal obligations to processes and controls and supporting compliance monitoring
* Preparing risk reporting, KRIs, and insights for governance forums
* Supporting third-party risk activity, business continuity planning, and risk education initiatives
About you:
* 1-3 years' experience in risk, compliance, audit, or a related operational role. Prior experience in this field is a must have. Any exposure or understanding of regulations that apply to the insurance sector will be valued.
* A solid understanding of risk management fundamentals, control environments, and regulated settings
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear written communication
* A proactive mindset and willingness to learn within a growing risk function
* An ability to roll with it. Like all risk roles in an operational context, no one day will look the same. You'll need to be comfortable to work with shifting priorities to ensure front line teams have the necessary support and guidance.
