About The Role
As a Finance Officer, you'll be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, bank and credit card reconciliations, and assisting with the preparation of month‐end management accounts. You'll also assist with monthly BAS and Payroll Tax lodgement. This role requires hands‐on involvement and solid technical understanding.
Key Responsibilities
* Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
* Performing bank and credit card reconciliations
* Assisting with the preparation and lodgement of BAS and Payroll Tax
* Assisting with payroll processing, including superannuation preparation and lodgement
* Understanding of prepayments and accruals
* Providing support for month‐end close and financial reporting
* Utilising NetSuite ERP or similar systems in daily operations
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar finance role
* Excellent organisational and time‐management skills with attention to detail.
* Robust written and verbal communication and experience dealing with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to identify potential scheduling conflicts and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
* Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work independently.
* Excellent skills in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
