Exciting Opportunity: Deputy Delivery Lead - HR Management

Location: ACT

Clearance: Baseline Security Clearance

Contract: 3 year Contract + Extensions

DEFENCE - ERP Program

Direct to Defence - No Third Party

As a Deputy Delivery Lead - HR Management, you will play a crucial role in translating complex customer requirements and constraints into high‑performing, scalable enterprise ICT functional solution especially in large, complex organisations. The resource must have experience in the implementation of complex SAP S4 / HANA Human Resource Management domain within a Commonwealth environment.

You must have demonstrated knowledge of and experience in Australian Defence Human Resource Management domain, including the Defence ERP Program's drivers and requirements.


Key Responsibilities for the Role

* Providing Solution Delivery governance and assurance, leveraging ERP and SAP design experience – support Solution Delivery Lead to plan, manage and govern activities of the Program's SI and Delivery Partners to ensure alignment with optimal outcomes for Defence and adoption of ERP implementation best practices, while supporting the program to deliver against agreed deliverables, time, quality and cost.
* Ensuring alignment of ERP methodologies, tools and solution, and outcomes concept with Defence strategic policy and framework supporting ERP Program Management to plan, manage and govern activities of the Program's SI and Delivery Partners to ensure alignment with optimal outcomes for Defence, Groups and Services and adoption of ERP implementation best practices.
* Working as part of the broader Solution Delivery Leadership to ensure program schedule and quality targets are met and overall Defence outcomes are achieved.
* Supporting the definition of Tranche 3, including early and in‑phase scope, approach, plan, schedule, resources and GFX required to deliver capability outcomes.


Qualifications, Skills & Experience

* 8+ years' experience and demonstrated skills in complex related functional domain ICT ERP SAP transformation across the suite of SAP applications with a focus on SAP Success Factors facilitating analysis of business requirements and an ability to convert business requirements into SAP system requirements for configuration by the vendor.
* Minimum 8 years of proven team leadership experience, preferable across a range of SAP Solution Delivery Team Lead roles such as Project Management and Functional Team Leadership.
* Demonstrated deep understanding of SAP Best Practice business processes and optimised SAP solution design from an end‑user perspective as well as understanding of best practice design and architecture that optimises the end‑user experience.
* It is essential that this resource has worked extensively within the SAP functional domain and has strong communication skills enabling a clear description of the solution to key business stakeholders.
