We are seeking a full-time Account Manager Sales Executive in Melbourne, VIC.
Job Summary
* Availability to work:
* Monday to Friday: Morning and Afternoon shifts
* 2-3 years of relevant work experience required
This role involves managing existing partnerships and establishing new relationships in Sydney. You will drive sales across the state, requiring strong relationship-building skills, growth-driving strategies, customer needs assessment, and deal closures.
Extensive travel will be involved to identify new opportunities, manage accounts, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities
* Provide expert advice on specifications and customization options based on customer needs
* Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to meet or exceed sales targets
* Attend trade shows and client meetings as needed
* Collaborate with Sales and Engineering teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery
* Leverage industry knowledge, especially in transport, truck bodies, and chassis types
* Understand major fleet operators nationwide
* Utilize solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office
* Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Manage time effectively and stay organized
* Work autonomously and handle pressure well
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity for growth opportunities
Qualifications
* Proven sales experience, preferably in the transport industry (3+ years)
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently
* Willingness to travel extensively and maintain flexibility
* Valid driver's license
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
