Powertech Resourcing is a multidisciplinary commissioning organisation providing services to the energy and resources sectors throughout Australia.
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are currently accepting applications for Instrumentation Commissioning Technicians to join our clients' team.
Duration: 12 months
Location: East Rockingham
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensuring proper installation, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems
Verifying that all systems are fully functional and meet operational, safety, and regulatory standards before handover for production
Performing installation checks, functional loop checks, C&E testing, logic verification, SIF testing, and supporting system start-up
Conducting calibrations, installation checks, functional loop checks, and logic verification
Handling commissioning/start-up tasks such as logic rectification and loop tuning
Developing Safety Instrumented Function test procedures
Complying with site health and safety procedures, legislation, and policies to maintain a zero-harm workplace; managing cable tray installation and switchboard terminations
Experience, skills, and qualifications:
Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation
Construction White Card
