Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Officer to join a fantastic organisation located in South Melbourne.
Our client is an award-winning market leader in their industry, who have grown considerably over the past calendar year. This period of sustained growth has created an opportunity for a dynamic Accounts Officer to work as part of a small team, solely responsible for the end-to-end processing of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
This position is offered on a full-time permanent basis, working in a friendly and collaborative team in a fantastic office location, walking distance from South Melbourne market.
**The Role**
This role will see you working in a friendly and team focused setting where your duties will include:
Accounts Receivable
- Preparing customer invoices and statements
- Allocating and reconciling payments
- Handling customer inquiries regarding billing issues
- Submitting regular reports to management on accounts receivable operations
Accounts Payable
- Invoice processing in Xero
- Processing payments
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Manage and respond to supplier queries.
**Your Skills & Experience**
To be successful in this role you will have a minimum 2 years' experience in a high-volume transactional environment. You will need to be systems savvy, as well as possess an intermediate level of Excel skills.
Excellent communication skills, a customer service approach, and the ability to work to deadlines is also required.
