Department: Process Improvement Department
Salary: Between 80,000 – 90,000 per year, based on experience
Purpose
This role supports continuous improvement, project delivery and production reporting with an aim to optimize plant performance and reduce production losses.
Responsibilities
* Analysing manufacturing production processes and data capture;
* Recommending improvements to ensure optimal performance and engineering improvements;
* Supporting analysis for the production team and providing recommendations to address safety, quality and production challenges that arise;
* Ensuring operational procedures are standardised and aligned to quality and safety standards;
* Ensuring production data is collected, measured and captured accurately;
* Troubleshooting user enquiries for Microsoft Power Apps using software including Microsoft Automate and Forms;
* Maintaining and troubleshooting the financial dashboard to ensure live time data is available to internal stakeholders;
* Working closely with operators, management and staff to ensure accurate data collection and use of Microsoft Power Apps;
* Supporting production planning, and projects for process improvements;
* Training and consulting with internal stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement and use of Microsoft Power Apps;
* Implementing practical solutions to improve operator output, quality and workflow.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or a higher qualification in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or Process Engineering (or any such equivalent qualification) or
* Five years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing, production, industrial or process engineering role.
Skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to analyse, troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing production systems.
* Experience with SOP development, production systems and standardizing processes.
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Power Apps and Power BI
* Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders and individuals across all levels of the business.
* Ability to manage competing priorities;
* Project management skills and the ability to deliver measurable results/process improvements.
