Pharmacy Assistant/Senior Pharmacy Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Allied Health professional to support the provision of comprehensive pharmacy services.
In this role, you will assist with dispensing and distribution of medications, manage inventory, and contribute to cashier and reception activities for both inpatients and outpatients.
* Strong technical & organisational skills – Good arithmetic skills, manual dexterity, keyboard proficiency, and data entry accuracy. Ability to follow policies, procedures, and work instructions to ensure safe and effective pharmacy practices.
* Teamwork & communication abilities – Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also being an effective team player. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds in a professional manner.
* Pharmacy experience & industry knowledge – Proven experience in a hospital pharmacy setting and proficiency in Pharmacy Management Software. Knowledge of pharmaceutical products, medical terminology, dispensing methods, and the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).
* Physical capability & attention to detail – Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, squatting, and reaching when handling stock. A high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical practice.
