The Role of Process Engineer: Unlocking Efficiency and Innovation
* As a Principal Process Engineer, you will be responsible for strategic and tactical process engineering support to operations and projects.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrate high levels of technical excellence and proactive leadership in resolving complex issues and executing medium to long-term strategic projects.
2. Provide production departments with high-level technical support to ensure the continued operation of the plant in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
3. Review and contribute to process design, equipment selection, and control philosophy.
4. Oversee the preparation of technical reports on project studies and mini-plant trials.
5. Liaise with area process engineers to optimize plant performance, consumables, and key process parameters.
6. Lead small teams of engineers as required on specific projects.

Requirements:
* A Tertiary qualification in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering.
* A Western Australian manual, C-Class driver license.
* At least 10+ years' experience in extractive metallurgical or chemical industries.
* Demonstrated technical excellence in key areas of extractive metallurgy or chemical processing.
* Good knowledge and skills in Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
* A high-level understanding of all relevant legislation in the mining industry in Western Australia.
