Overview


Operations Supplier Management (OSM) plays a central role in managing FSG's relationships with key third-party service providers across EMEA, Asia, and Australia. The team ensures these partners deliver high-quality service while adapting to the changing needs of the business and its clients.


OSM is a collaborative, forward-thinking group that tackles everything from resolving issues in complex fund structures to negotiating with suppliers and driving strategic initiatives. The work is varied, impactful, and deeply connected to the broader goals of the COO Group.


Team members engage with global governance, risk, and compliance efforts, and use tools like AI and automation to improve oversight. There's regular interaction with senior stakeholders in Legal, Product, and Compliance, and a strong culture of challenging norms, leading change, and supporting career growth.




Your experience and skills

* Background in supplier management or procurement, ideally within financial services

* Knowledge of operational and enterprise risk, audit, and regulated environments

* Familiarity with fund operations and corporate sourcing

* Experience with supplier oversight tools, risk registers, and global outsourcing frameworks

* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas and build trust across teams

* Skilled in reporting, collaboration, and influencing outcomes across global time zones

* Analytical and proactive, with a problem-solving mindset and strategic thinking

* Comfortable using technology and AI to improve processes and drive innovation

* Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, risk, or related fields (preferred)





Key responsibilities

* Oversee key suppliers across regions, focusing on back and middle office support

* Maintain supplier agreements, SLAs, and fee schedules with internal stakeholders

* Lead performance reviews and benchmarking to ensure service quality and strategic alignment

* Manage supplier due diligence, including site visits and reporting

* Present supplier insights to boards and committees, ensuring regulatory compliance

* Represent supplier oversight in strategic and regulatory initiatives





Governance & Risk

* Conduct supplier risk assessments aligned with sourcing policy and best practices

* Monitor risk profiles and ensure ongoing due diligence

* Maintain supplier data and compliance with regulatory registers

* Collaborate with Risk and Compliance teams to align with global frameworks

* Report supplier-related risks and controls to governance forums





Stakeholder Engagement

* Act as a key contact and escalation point for supplier issues

* Support Supplier Business Owners with risk and service management

* Contribute to governance frameworks and documentation

* Facilitate training on supplier risk and service management tools
