Purpose
The Styling Manager leads styling for Country Road, Australia's leading lifestyle brand, working across all divisions - Woman, Man, Kids and Home. This role translates the brand and design vision, key product priorities and marketing strategy into styling that inspires new and existing customers – working across monthly campaigns, social-first content and ECommerce imagery.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role is responsible for leading, inspiring and cultivating a high performing team of four stylists, ensuring consistency and innovation across monthly styling to ensure the brand is showing up in a differentiated and engaging way.
Key Accountabilities
* Set the styling direction for Country Road across all divisions – building on brand DNA/codes while always evolving based on trend, our modern customers' wardrobing end-use & insights
* Manage styling for all on-body & still life for brand campaigns, social-first content & Ecommerce imagery
* Manage all Ecommerce styling, models & photography with our external Ecommerce studio for each range month across Woman, Man, Kids & Home
* Lead, inspire & cultivate a high performing team of 4 stylists – incl Menswear Stylist, Childrenswear Stylist, Home Stylist & Styling Coordinator
* Manage the Styling team to ensure samples are effectively managed and the styling and photography meets brand expectations.
* Manage the styling calendar for all shoots
* As part of the marketing leadership team, contribute to the longer-term strategy for the brand & monthly marketing strategies & briefs
* Collaborate with key stakeholders across Marketing, Design, Product, VM, Ecommerce & Retail teams
Key Capabilities
* A degree in Fashion/VM design or relevant experience in fashion or VM styling
* Extensive fashion styling experience in the retail/editorial/fashion industry
* Experience in managing photographic shoots and developing a team
* Strong technical styling skills 'on body' and still life
* A sound knowledge of MS Office products and Mac
* The ability to liaise with internal departments & external agencies
* Creative nature, with a good eye and a strong visual ability
* Accurate and efficient, with strong attention to detail
* A team player with the ability to adhere to timelines
