Job Title: Mining Supervisor
The primary objective of this role is to oversee mine production activities and ensure they comply with the established plan. This involves leading personnel within assigned crews and acting as an appointed representative to the Quarry Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Regular inspections are conducted to identify potential hazards and direct mining operations accordingly, ensuring personnel safety.
* Mining leading hands and assigned crew members receive coaching and mentoring to achieve objectives.
* Leave requirements are managed efficiently.
* Training gap analysis and action plans are developed for each employee to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* The effective utilization of the mining fleet is ensured to meet the demands of the mining plan.
* All necessary statutory and shift-specific documentation is completed accurately.
* A positive team culture is fostered and maintained through proactive management practices.
* Interviews are conducted for new personnel to assess their qualifications and fit for the role.
* Casual operators are engaged and managed as required to support operational needs.
