OverviewStratco's manufacturing and roll form facility is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic sheetmetal trades team member to join their operations team to manufacture and assemble products for our trade and retail customer base.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with an 8-hour day shift (6:00am – 2:06pm) or an afternoon shift (2:54pm – 11:00pm).
Location: Ormeau, Queensland.
Remuneration: $73,150 to $80,000 (negotiable based on relevant qualifications and experience).

ResponsibilitiesManufacturing goods to our customers\' requirementsFabricating sheetmetal products to specifications and drawingsOperating metal folding, slitting, roll form and pressing machines and general sheet metal equipmentCut, measure and assemble prepainted and coated steel to specificationsInterpreting product drawingsPerform geometric pattern developmentDemonstrate attention to detail and be quality assurance focusedStrict adherence to our critical safety rules and contributing to a safe working environment
About YouEssential – AQF Certificate III in Engineering - Sheet MetalEssential – Experience using sheetmetal manufacturing equipment, particularly roll form machines and metal bending machinery (folders, press & breaks)Essential – Strong mechanical aptitudeEssential – At least 3 years of relevant work experienceDesirable – MIG, TIG and Stick welding experienceDesirable – Gantry crane certificationHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailCommitment to producing quality productsWillingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
