Job Title:

Team Lead

Role Summary

This role is responsible for leading a team of professionals in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and store presentation are maintained. The Team Lead will be responsible for coaching, developing, and motivating their team to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and Develop a Team: Coach, train, and develop a team of cleaning and trolley collection specialists to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality services.
2. Coach and Train: Provide coaching and training to your team to develop their skills in trolley collection, cleaning, and waste management.
3. Create Rosters: Create and manage rosters to ensure that all daily tasks and operations are covered.
4. Work with Store Leadership Teams: Collaborate with Store Leadership teams to identify challenges, areas of opportunity, and upcoming priorities.
5. Develop Succession Plans: Develop succession plans through coaching to increase team productivity and improve overall satisfaction.
6. Complete Time and Attendance Activities: Complete time and attendance activities for your team members, such as tracking hours, managing absences, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
7. Order Consumables: Order all consumables for your stores, such as cleaning supplies, and maintain these within allocated budgets.
8. Provide Cleaning Services: In addition to your regular duties, work as part of the Proactive Services Team providing cleaning, trolley collection, and waste management services.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

1. Ambitious mindset and love of retail.
2. Flexibility to work in different environments, including shop floors, fridges, freezers, and carparks.
3. Good eye for cleanliness and small details.
4. Physical fitness to handle physically demanding tasks.
5. Ability to work with other Department Managers and Store Leadership teams to plan and coordinate routines and timeframes.
6. Organized to ensure your team has all necessary equipment and supplies.
7. Comfortable working within regulated frameworks (Food Safety, industrial regulations, code of conducts, etc.).
8. Valid full Australian driver's license.
