Event Equipment Coordinator Position
Job Description:
* Play a pivotal role in the company's growth and evolution as an Event Equipment Coordinator.
Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, inspecting and cleaning event equipment, and coordinating with sales and operations teams.
Maintain high standards of quality and safety while ensuring timely availability of equipment for events.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee organisation and tracking of event equipment inventory.
2. Use inventory management systems to maintain accurate records of equipment quantities, conditions, and locations.
3. Coordinate with sales and operations teams to fulfill equipment orders and ensure timely availability.
4. Inspect, clean, and perform routine maintenance on event equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
5. Conduct regular quality checks on equipment to verify that it meets company standards and client expectations.
6. Ensure all equipment meets safety and quality standards and adheres to relevant regulations.
7. Implement safety protocols and provide training to warehouse staff on proper equipment handling procedures.
8. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a similar role managing and maintaining equipment and inventory.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate tracking and maintenance of equipment.
* Technical aptitude to diagnose and address basic equipment issues and repairs.
* Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, vendors, and other departments.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Physical fitness to perform lifting, carrying, and other physical tasks related to equipment handling.
* Valid drivers license.
* Forklift Licence and HR Truck Licence preferable.
