Leadership with Impact Skill Development and Career Growth Collaborative and Supportive Environment About the role This role is a hands on leadership opportunity within the City of Hobart's Construction Projects Team, supporting the delivery of essential infrastructure services across roads, footpaths, stormwater systems and public spaces.
Role accountabilities include: Leading and motivating a productive team to deliver high quality maintenance and construction outcomes.
Supporting Team Leaders during absences and coordinating resources, including external contractors.
Ensuring compliance with WHS policies, construction plans, and Council standards.
Coaching new team members and contributing to a safe, collaborative work environment.
You are a confident and capable team leader with a strong background in civil construction and a passion for delivering quality outcomes for the community.
You bring a practical mindset, a safety first attitude, and a collaborative approach to your work.
To be successful in this role, you will have: Completion of Year 12, a Certificate IV level qualification or relevant experience.
Current Driver Licence.
Strong problem solving skills and solid understanding of WHS practices.
Basic computer skills for completing safety and asset records.
